3,156kms of Sheer Awesomeness

I’m back from eighteen days of summer holidays that included my fair share of bonfires, quadding, water sports, target practice, sun tanning, reading and way too much eating. My pregnant wife and I trekked over 3,000km (or almost 2,000 miles) across the prairies of Canada. We spent time with relatives, helped out at a summer camp and we even hit up a wedding on the way back. The trip was amazing and it has been almost three week since I have blogged. The hiatus to my blog came directly from the lack of internet access while in the middle of the Canadian prairies. It was patchy at best and my addiction to being connected online was dealt with cold turkey. As all holidays should be, this trip was filled with hundreds of memories and it would be safe to say that I am not short on any content for this blog.
Some random highlights from the trip was driving on empty for almost 20kms, epic rifle contest with my dad, eating the delectable coco jam, quadding by an old military training ground, being a rockstar uncle to my niece and nephews, witnessing my gorgeous wife as bridesmaid and hitting a mutant sized badger with my car. Good times had by all. Over the next few weeks, I am sure I will divulge more from my holidays, but I wanted to let all of you know, that the DaddyNoob is back…
How about you, have you gone somewhere for summer holidays…
If so, what is one random highlight from your summer holidays?
